Day 3: Barahamay - Antsoa - Russian Bay
On the third day, an excursion to the city is on the program. A visit to a traditional school will give you an insight into the daily life of the people of Madagascar. You are welcome to bring donations in kind, such as pens and books, for the students.
Then, around 9 am, the Blue Maki departs for the crossing to Antsoa, a private island. The trip takes about 2.5 hours. On site, playful lemurs await you. Play with the cute little animals known for Madagascar and enjoy a relaxing day in dreamlike surroundings.
Just in time for lunch, there is a freshly prepared menu with local delicacies.
Make a liberated afternoon on the sandy beach. You can swim, snorkel or just enjoy the sun and unwind.
About 4 o'clock the sailing ship leaves the island and returns to Russian Bay with a 45-minute cruise. There the Blue Maki will anchor and you can look forward to a great evening in the harbor of Russian Bay.
A fancy dinner with local foie gras and French champagne is waiting for you. Enjoy the luxurious meal and taste traditional specialties under a clear starry sky.
