Madagascar horse riding tour

Discover mountains and beaches

If you can't imagine anything more beautiful than extensive horseback riding and traveling in harmony with nature, our horseback riding tours are just right for you. With a lot of love for detail we have worked out three tours in different lengths. The starting point of our tours is Antananarivo. Thanks to our good and extensive organization, you can sit back and relax after your arrival and let the impressions of the probably most beautiful island of Africa take effect on you. An extensive Horse riding tour for 16 days will take you to Madagascar's highlands, where you will see impressive mountain scenery and incredible panoramas. Afterwards you will get to know the beautiful east coast of the country on horseback. Endless beaches, overwhelming exoticism and idyllic coastal villages will cast a spell over you.

Of course you can also book separate horseback riding tours to the mountains or the east coast. An 11 day horse riding tour in Madagascar's highlands takes you past mysterious volcanic landscapes and picturesque mountain lakes. In the idyllic town of Ampefy you will witness Madagascar's colorful culture. If you feel more comfortable on spacious beaches, we offer you a 7 days horse riding tour on the east coast. Stay right on the beach and enjoy extensive rides on the white sands of the coast. We will take you to charming fishing villages and along the impressive Canal des Pangalanes.

Following this shorter horseback tour, there are several options available to further explore the east coast. On the delightful Sainte Marie Island for example, you can continue to gaze over beach scenery. Or embark on the Masoala National Park, the largest protected rainforest on the island. We will be happy to advise you about connecting offers or an individual tour program and give exclusive tips for an unforgettable vacation.

Help

FOR MADAGASCAR

After 10 months of total inactivity, self-employed people in the tourism industry in Madagascar are completely without income. There is no opening of the borders in sight in Madagascar and we are at the beginning of the rainy season, which is the low season, even in normal times. I have started a fundraiser for the guides and drivers I know well. From this money we will buy rice and other essentials and distribute them regularly, if possible, until the resumption of travel activities in April 2021 at the earliest. My special thanks to those who have already donated. I will start buying rice tomorrow and will begin distributing it this week.
