Dear Klaus and Nicole, today at Christmas we would like to write you a few lines in the guestbook.
Thank you again for the wonderful and super organized trip from 21.11.- 12.12.2015 that we could make with you.
Above all we got to know the life in this poor, but very interesting country.
The very good hotels Isalo Rock Lodge and the residence Eden Lodge were best chosen. For the surprise at the Grotte Sarondrano on the last evening with good food, sunset and the singing of the hotel staff, was for us an unforgettable experience.
Keep up the good work and good luck. Reiner+Steffi... Collapse

Dear Nicole, dear Klaus
After we hit the bull's eye in 2013 with you as our guides, we decided to go deeper into the country with you.
When we presented you with our proposals for a south piste tour, we were initially met with well-founded skepticism. Questions such as impassability and accommodations were at the center of our negotiations. Never before had you accompanied such a tour as we had requested. But soon the route was tailor-made and while for us the focus was on the flight bookings and the anticipation, for you it was the logistics that had to be mastered for this pilot project and you succeeded brilliantly.
Then it got serious. The vacation had it in itself: approx. 2500 km pilot runway journey over the south cape Sainte Marie away = dream fulfillment for Norbert. Imagine standing at the southernmost point of Madagascar...you have to get there first. We were allowed to experience that and then somewhere far behind the horizon, where the water line merges into the sky, lies Antarctica...madness yet.
Sweaty shirts, sand in the sandals forever, water bottle at hand, camera in pose, swimming in turquoise ocean, eating fish and crustaceans, strange flora and fauna, alien cultures, heat, sunsets...3 weeks hot-sandy-dusty-stony with you and our excellent driver Dam on the road - thank you for the feeling of security, competence, being cared for.
The insider tip Eden Lodges worked out perfectly, the night in Kirindy Forest Lodge with the giant cockroaches and the flea infestation of Klaus completely off. That's the way it is when you sit on the sleeping place of a fossa.
Unpleasant: Norbert's heart attack shortly before the end of the vacation. Immediately you looked for solutions. Through your tireless, selfless and competent actions, our joint journey home became possible. And especially on these few days of sorrow we felt your warmth of heart.
Please think occasionally also of resting with e.g. the 5th piano concerto of L.v. Beethoven....
Thank you for a dream trip of the first order and to all those who will make this tour after us, we say: ouch, we were the first...
We say "goodbye" if you like! We like want...

Dear Klaus, the cold Germany has us again and we have to use pictures and video recordings to remember the beautiful time in Madagascar. We would like to thank you again for patiently going through all the changes caused by Air Madagascar with us. At the same time, I would like to warn other Madagascar travelers against booking with this airline. Not only the flights within the country but also the ones to Paris were constantly changed in our case. Sometimes a flight was canceled, then again the return flight was postponed by 2 days. My patience was at an end when I was offered a negative connecting time for a flight within Madagascar and all my attempts to contact them went unanswered. It was only with great difficulty that I finally managed to get them to take note of my cancellation. I would never have believed that an airline could work like this! In the end, even without domestic flights, we had a wonderful time in this exotic country. Adafi and Anja had a big part in that. With them we had the perfect travel companions, we couldn't have asked for better. They were instrumental in helping us get to know much of the country and its people. Thus, even without French language skills, we not only got through the country, we were able to experience it! The guide you recommended from Ambalavao also did a very good job. Patiently he accompanied us to the Pic Chameleon and through him also interesting insights into the village life in the Tsarano valley were possible. We wanted to see lemurs, chameleons, baobabs and the Tsingys, relax a little on dream beaches and get an insight into Malagasy life - we had all that and we will keep this colorful, poverty-stricken country in very good memory. Your recommendations for the accommodations were just right for us, also for this a heartfelt thank you. A praise also to your cook in the villa Sybille. We liked your food the best! We wish you and your team all the best and many more satisfied guests. Best regards from Richard and Karin... Collapse

Dear Klaus, dear Nicole, dear Adafi and dear Anja,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the perfect organization and the wonderful support. The whole trip has deeply impressed us all and brought us an incredible amount of joy. Of course, we were thrilled by the country, the people and the nature. But above all it was your warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere that made us feel so comfortable the whole time. This is not a matter of course and made the trip something very special!
For all readers and interested people our entry in the guestbook should be an urgent recommendation. Our trip went from August 1-20, 2015 from Tana via Antsirabé, Ranomafana, Manakara, Andrigita NP to Sarondrano/Tuléar. The whole process of the trip, the hotels, the visits and activities were perfectly organized by Klaus. Requests for changes were also implemented at short notice without any problems (instead of the originally planned Isalo NP we spent 2 days in Andrigita NP - which we can highly recommend). We (we 4 and 2 other guests) were accompanied by Adafi and Anja. Adafi is an excellent guide and driver. No matter how bad the road was or how close the chickens came...☺ - we felt very safe at all times. He managed everything very well, organized all visits and activities on site and translated into English for us when necessary. Anja organized with heart and commitment the many, small things: be it shopping at the market, a barbecue or a dinner at the beach. Anja and Adafi always made sure that we felt comfortable around the clock and even gave us special pleasures with some spontaneous ideas. We learned a lot from them about the country, the people, their customs, the plants and animals. Thanks to their professional but also very personal care and their guidance to places where you could look 'behind the scenes', we felt the trip as a little less touristy and more like a common journey of discovery. We sang, danced and had a lot of fun together. It could not have been better.... Collapse

Dear Klaus,
It has been several weeks since we returned from Madagascar in early July and we are still raving about our great trip!
We would therefore like to thank you and your team very much. Aina did a great job - empathetic and courteous, he read our every wish from our lips and made many a great photo possible. We felt safe at all times with him as our driver and guide.
We liked the itinerary (Tana-Manakara-Tulea r) very much with the varied impressions and the frequent changes of scenery. All our wishes came true: colorful nature, impressive animals and plants.
At the end of the trip there were more highlights: Relaxation and excitement at the same time on the national holiday in Sarondrano, after all the local soccer team had won the regional final. They celebrated happily in the evening at the Recidence Eden in the presence of their families and the hotel owners. We got chicken skin when later the whole staff said goodbye to us with a song and small gifts, because we had to leave one day earlier due to the strike of Air Madagascar.
We would like to thank you again, Klaus, for the wise decision to leave Aina with us in Sarondrano during the uncertainty with Air Madagascar, so that he could take us back in the car to Tana!
Best regards from Switzerland

very dear greetings from Germany! We would like to thank you again for the great trip with you! Not least your competent and at the same time personal and loving care during our stay in Madagascar it has contributed to the fact that we have fallen in love with this fascinating country and its people. 😆
We have been allowed to collect an incredible number of impressions and experiences and have felt safe with you at every second. What a pity that the image of Madagascar in the German media is often portrayed so health d and dangerous 🙁.
As you already know, we will come back very soon and are already looking forward to it!!!
See you soon,

Hello,
I am thrilled by the many positive comments here. Just the idea of booking such a trip makes my fingers tingle. I do not know Klaus personally. Have only read something on Facebook from him, where he makes among other things also advertising for his tours. But I'm already excited just by the homepage and all the descriptions and if you read here how people have experienced everything who were already there, then it sounds like a very good word-of-mouth propaganda nda! And something like that is the most important thing when you run a company anyway! Klaus apparently knows that and I think his human, fair behavior described here is terrific!!! P.s. I would also like to emigrate sometime. But at the earliest in 5 years....the circumstances here unfortunately do not allow it sooner. LG, Maria... Collapse

Due to a severe stroke of my wife we had to cancel an individual Madagascar round trip planned for us by Klaus with great effort.
Klaus reacted like a good old friend, although we had only email contact.
Already at our very first contact we had the impression to have come across a very fair and correct tour operator and this has now been confirmed to the full extent.
Although there was no written contract, Klaus kept exactly to his verbal statements and immediately initiated the reversal. That is nowadays by no means a Selbstverständlichke it more.
But not only that. He sent my wife travel reports and get-well wishes to the hospital several times.
That's what you call human kindness!
It is a pity that it is no longer possible for us to meet Klaus and Nicole personally. We wish you both continued success and good health.
Best regards

Dear Klaus and dear Nicole,
with my entry in your guestbook would like to address all the readers who have the desire to travel the uniquely beautiful island of Madagascar.
Our group (14 people) were from 17.10-09.11.2014 with a konfortabeln coach, top bus driver "CE" on the RN7 tour on the road. Klaus has organized a fantastic trip for this rather large group, absolutely everything worked smoothly.
Every single wish was fulfilled, even short-term changes in the itinerary, posed no problem. If you want to experience the country and its people up close, Klaus and his charming wife Nicole are 100 % the best choice.our expectations and wishes were exceeded by far.
Familiar and strange at the same time, the fascinating landscape cocktail of the island continent, the diversity of the landscape is reflected in the faces of the people.
We like to think back to village 13, everywhere we met cheerful and hospitable people living in abject poverty.
The last week we spent in Sarondrano - a paradisiacal place to relax, thanks to Eden Lodge.
These unforgettable and unique impressions burn in our hearts and the memories of this dream vacation sweeten our stressful everyday life.
Dear Klaus, thank you so much for letting us be your guests...our mind is made up, we will be back.
For all the readers whose curiosity I have awakened with my entry, I can heartily recommend a trip to Madagascar with Klaus and Nicole.
Best regards to both of you.

Everything was organized optimally, even at short notice requests for changes could be accommodated. The impressions were exhilarating from Masoala Lodge and jungle to Tana to Antsirabe, Manakara, Ranomafana, Ifaty and finally Residence Eden Lodge at Sarondrano. Each destination was a real highlight, the cameras were permanently in use. But we also have to thank the always well-informed Aina, who made our trip a dream. He is not just a driver, he is also a guide, manager and psychologist. His advice was always reliable.
We can only recommend the trip to anyone reading this. We will gladly advertise Klaus, Nicole and Aina to our friends and family. It was difficult for us after this trip to return to our familiar surroundings and to settle into our working lives.
Dear Klaus, dear Nicole and dear Aina, thank you very much for your hospitality, for your perfect organization and our super company.... Collapse

A good month ago we had to leave Madagascar again after three wonderful weeks. We still live off the fantastic experiences and dream ourselves so out of the everyday life. We have experienced so many beautiful and unique things. For three weeks we were surrounded by warm people who cared about us and took care of everything.
Klaus organized an unforgettable trip for us. He thought of everything, even things that didn't occur to us. Everything worked flawlessly.
We first spent a week in the Masoala rainforest. There we stayed at the Masoala Forest Lodge. This is located in a beautiful place. The staff lovingly takes care of their guests and they fulfilled our every wish. Our guide Ursula showed us the beautiful flora and fauna of the rainforest and introduced us to her country and culture. We felt very comfortable at the lodge and part of the family.
After the week in the rainforest, we went across Madagascar with Aina and Albert. Aina is a first class driver who makes you feel really safe. Albert would like to become a tour guide and did an internship. He was very eager and explained customs and traditions to us in German. We immediately took the two into our hearts.

They remain always attentive to the quality of the hotels and restaurants, which avoids the excessive food costs observed in Madagascar.

We would like to sincerely thank Klaus and Nicole for giving us a wonderful vacation in Madagascar in June/July 2014, which exceeded our expectations in all respects and in which everything 100% worked smoothly and perfectly. Although we had "only" rented a car with driver for our RN7 tour, Klaus has also brought our itinerary somewhat up to speed and took care of the hotels, with which we were very satisfied throughout. A great extra service! We had a lively and pleasant e-mail exchange beforehand, which left no questions unanswered.
At this point we would also like to thank our driver Aina. Aina is not only a safe driver, but he also proved to be a helpful, extremely helpful and reliable guide and truly great person. During the 12 days of our tour, Aina grew so close to our hearts that it was hard to say goodbye in Tulear.
The intensive, eventful vacation will remain in our memories forever. See you at our next Madagascar vacation......

Trip with children
Madagascar from 22.07. to 07.08.2014
We were three on this trip suitable for children and were accompanied by Klaus and Nicole. We would not want to miss this trip and can recommend it without hesitation. The tour is perfectly coordinated with longer beach stays at the Strait of Mozambique and the Indian Ocean or animal observations or hikes. Each day is discussed in advance and thus adapted to the individual wishes of the travelers. We can recommend this trip to everyone who wants to see an interesting country far away from mass tourism. There is much to discover and experience. With the professional travel company of Klaus and Nicole you are always on the right side. If you want to experience a beautiful and carefree vacation in the southern part of Africa far away from the mass tourist routes, this is the right place for you. The journeys are coordinated individually in the apron, so that one can come on its desires and conceptions. Interesting information can be found on the lovingly designed web pages and can be added at any time by contacting Klaus. We had great fun, we gained unforgettable impressions and took many beautiful pictures. From us the team and the execution of the journey receives the value "unreservedly recommendable", particularly for parents who want to offer their children something special and lasting in the memory of childhood. To Klaus and Nicole once again a big thank you and keep up the good work with your concept. We wish you in the future as satisfied guests as we are.

It was so nice to experience real Madagascar with Klaus and Nicole. So we listened to the old man, who told us about the belief in the ancestors and the reburial of the dead, got into a boisterous village community, which celebrated the circumcision of boys singing, reached a village in a pirogue to get to know vanilla and pepper, but still had to visit a mother with her 5 hours old child in a hut. Even the crocodile stalking became an experience, thinking about the excitement of the village elder because tourists came to his village. Or how the old woman in village 13 pulled freshly baked pottery out of the fire. In a restaurant the meal was delayed because the fishermen with the lobsters were not back yet. Klaus is a pleasant travel companion and allows one all feasible special requests and Nicole tells a lot about the life of the Madegasses. Thank you very much for this travel experience!... Collapse

Dear Klaus and dear Nicole:)
I wanted to thank you, even if a little late, for the wonderful and unforgettable time in Madagascar! And that I say not only because this is a phrase, no I will always keep you and the trip in Gedächnis. All the super beautiful photos and funny moments with our, albeit a little crazy troop are simply indescribable. The special thing about the trip with you, such as the factory visits, the people in the country, the markets, etc. you would never get to know as a normal "tourist" in this extent. Also the hotels or bungalows, which were partly not even awarded with stars, are super selected and simply wünderschön!!!
The "preparation" and the numerous emails that you have answered me with complete satisfaction in advance, have prepared me super even as a solo traveler:)
I do not know how I can still top my future vacations.
Keep up the good work! All the best to you 🙂
