We were in Madagascar for two weeks at the beginning of July and spent a wonderful vacation there. In search of a tour operator, we found via the Internet the contact to Klaus and Nicole, who took our wishes into account and put together a great trip. We drove from the capital in stages to the east to Manakara and then crossed the country to Tulear. We liked the route, the selected visits and the accommodations very much. A big part was played by our driver and guide Aina. Through Aina we learned a lot about the country and its people. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend Mr. and Mrs. Konnerth and our guide for everyone who wants to get to know Madagascar. The vacation is enriching if you are willing to get involved with the country, its people and their often very original, with our standards considered very poor way of life.
