About 5000 Ha in the South of Tulear have been declared a nature reserve, Tsinjoriake is opening to ecotourism. The huge rock cliffs of the Saint Augustine Bay, Mangrove forests, the majestic table mountain and the Ecosystem biodiversity have been made available to travelers as of 2013.
In recent months, very important steps have been taken: Training of staff, training materials, promotional events and equipment of different tours that are possible in the newly developed area. From Table Mountain you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° view of the bay of St.Augustine, the Dunes of Sarondrano, the wet zone around the River Onilahy and the Thorn Forest of the deep south of Madagascar.
Tsinjoriake is directly under the Tropic of Capricorn.
