Living nature conservation and local initiatives<\/h3>\n

Madagascar is an island on which the Nature Conservation<\/strong><\/a> unfortunately so far is not written so large, as it should actually. In recent centuries, man has destroyed much of the original nature on this unique island and if not soon the appropriate emergency brake is pulled, then this unique natural paradise<\/strong> will probably be irretrievably lost in just a few years. However, nature conservation in Madagascar is not a task that can be imposed exclusively from the outside. It is much more important that a change in thinking takes place in the minds of the people of Madagascar. Local initiatives<\/strong>The projects that are founded by the Malagasy themselves are therefore usually much more successful than projects that reach Madagascar from abroad, for example.<\/p>\n

A particularly remarkable commitment is shown by the people who have already been working for more than ten years with the so-called Anja Park<\/strong> operate a very special project: This is a rather small park, which is only a good nine square kilometers<\/strong> is large and enjoys very special protective services. Behind the Anja Park, which is also known as the Anjaha<\/em> is known, the initiative is L'Association Anja Miray<\/em>which should serve as a model for many similar initiatives in Madagascar. A protected area for many creatures<\/h3>\n

Anja Park is home to many unusual creatures, because here you can find sufficient shelter, food and the living environment<\/strong>that they need. The heart of the park is a huge aisle that exists in the steeply rising granite mountains of the park. In this strip, over the centuries, a remarkable vegetation has spread: From beautiful orchids<\/strong> up to bizarre looking succulents<\/strong> and fascinating Eurphorbia<\/strong> you can discover all sorts of botanical wonders. Besides, Anja Park is also home to numerous insects and reptiles. Lizards, skinks, iguanas and the cute dwarf chameleons are at home in Anja Park. The well trained guides<\/strong> will certainly be able to show you one or the other cute little animal during a guided hike. But the highlight for many visitors are the Kattas<\/strong>, whose population in this area has surprisingly increased in recent years. Meanwhile live in the Anja Park About 300 animals<\/strong>because they are protected here and, apart from birds of prey, have no natural enemies. New areas on the edge of the Anja Park area are now being reforested to provide the highly endangered species with open up new living spaces<\/strong> and thus make an active and important contribution to the preservation of the species.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Promotion project also for the people<\/h3>\n

First and foremost, at the start of the Anja Park project, the Nature conservation and the preservation of animal and plant habitats<\/strong> on the agenda of the initiators. In the meantime, however, it has become clear that such sustainability projects can also have an irrefutably positive impact on the people who are directly or even indirectly involved with these projects. Thus, the Anja Park numerous new jobs<\/strong> produced, makes it possible to employ a teacher and forms the basis for numerous other cooperatives<\/strong>, which will also support the population of the surrounding area. To get to know Anja Park from all its fascinating sides, it is recommended to bring a little physical fitness to the visit. The most attractive parts of the park can be reached only with a little climbing. However, the tours are basically Flexible to fit your constitution<\/strong>.
