This includes, for example, the <strong>Mango tree<\/strong>, which can grow up to 40 meters high and the in this country extremely popular <strong>yellow fleshy fruits<\/strong> produced. Also <strong>Papaya trees<\/strong> are at home on Madagascar and that although they originally come from Mexico. <strong>Jackfruit trees<\/strong> are less known in this country, while the fruits growing on these trees are a real sensation: <strong>Jackfruit can grow up to 40 kilograms in weight<\/strong>. The fruits are extremely tasty, but also the juicy. The taste is reminiscent of a mixture of peaches, bananas and apples. Another <strong>Madagascar fruit tree<\/strong> is the <strong>Lychee tree<\/strong>. Even though this tree originally comes from China, it now feels exceedingly at home on the island. This may also be the reason that currently per year about <strong>100,000 tons of lychees harvested in Madagascar<\/strong> can be produced. This makes the lychee one of the export hits of the island state. Also worth mentioning are the <strong>Sumac family<\/strong>, some species of which provide delicious fruit. The <strong>Fire Tree<\/strong>, which is also known as <strong>Flame tree or flamboyant<\/strong> was originally an endemic tree species, but is now found in other parts of the world. The fire tree<\/p>\n<p>belongs to the family of legumes and inspires with its <strong>fiery red flowers<\/strong>. Also this tree is nowadays unfortunately as <strong>endangered<\/strong> classified. Another tree that delights with its enormous flowering is the so-called <strong>Jacaranda<\/strong>. This is a trumpet tree plant, which with its <strong>stunningly beautiful lilac flowers <\/strong>enthusiastic. <strong>Ylang-Ylang<\/strong> is a tree that grows mainly on the <strong>Madagascar island of Nosy Be<\/strong> is cultivated. The evergreen tree can reach a growth height of up to 25 meters and belongs to the family of annonaceae.
